Sharon founded Medical Cannabis Australia (MCA) out of a personal connection to a patient benefiting from the therapeutic benefits medical cannabis has for treating chronic pain. When medical cannabis became legal in Australia in 2016, she dove into educating herself and others on the significant difference medical cannabis can make in people’s lives along with understanding the global medical cannabis market and its opportunities. Two years later, she founded Medical Cannabis Australia which was certified by Australia’s Office of Drug Control with a license to cultivate.
