The night of October 24, 2018 was a resounding success for first of several “CBMD Cooking with Cannabis” classes. CBMD Advisory Board members, guests and CBMD Team members were taught by Green Panther Chef how make a delicious and nutritious meal infused with cannabis for medical benefit.
Chef taught us how to calculate conversion of cannabis product for proper and efficacious dosing. We learned about decarboxylation. The “decarbing” process is a simple chemical process which ensures that the cannabis psychoactive compounds are released and available. This also happens naturally when you smoke or vape the plant, but when ingesting cannabis, decarbing should be a first step for the best effects.
Everyone came for a variety of reasons and all let us know the event must be repeated. That we will do!
